In the heart of Umbria
The vineyards rise in a single 2.5-hectare plot, 250 metres above sea level. The heterogeneous soil between the upper and the downhill areas where they rise is certainly the distinctive feature of these vineyards. In fact, the medium mixture soil has significant differences in texture, with clay infiltrations and pebbles mixed with “veins” of sand.
21 years ago, we planted 5 vine varieties – Trebbiano Procanico, Grechetto di Orvieto, Chardonnay, Sangiovese, and Cabernet Sauvignon – which, thanks to a few viticulture techniques, every year give fruits that are worthy of their age.
